* What is Encryption Key? |
You can specify yourself "Encryption Key" to encrypt your files, the encrypted files can only be opened with a open password, which can be created via the 'Create Password' function in our encryption tool. Only the person knows the encryption key can create password, and each password is created using the Machine ID of your user's computer and your encryption key. The password is different for each computer. One computer, One password.
You can only specify "123456" as Encryption Key in Trial Version, You need buy a license if you want to use yourself Encryption Key . |
* bakup file as (*.bak) |
The original file will be saved as a backup file with bak format when you encrypt your files. You can delete this backup file if you want not to backup. |
* What is File ID |
You can specify a same File ID for some files if you want them use a same open password.
You can set open password allowed or not to open some File ID .
If you want your user only enter open password one time for some encrypted files, you may specify these files use same File ID,
the others will not ask open password again if your uses input any one correct open password,

* Output format |
You can specify any extension file name for your encryped files. You may also set the encrypted file's name is same as its original file name. |
* Encryption type |
[Non bind mode] All computers will show a same Machine ID, so all computer's open password is same.
[Hardware bind mode] each computer will show a different Machine ID, so each computer needs a different open password.
[Automatic activation and bind] Your user only needs to enter a network activation code to pay, one activation code can only activate one computer, so your user can't share activation code to others.

* Create password |
Create open password to your user, when a user wants to play an encrypted file, the encrypted file will pop up a dialog box to request the user to enter a open password, this dialog box will display the Machine ID of this user's computer, this user can send his/her own Machine ID to you, and you can create a password based on the user's Machine ID. After that the user can use this password to play your files on his/her computer. Because the password is created based on your user's Machine ID, your user will not be able to share his password with other users. Because the password is bond to your user's computer, your user will not be able to re-distribute your files. |
* What's One Computer One Password ? |
When a user wants to open an encrypted file (encrypted with password protected mode), the encrypted file will pop up a dialog box to request the user to enter a Open Password. This dialog box will display the machine ID of the user's computer. The user can send his/her own machine ID to you, and you can create a Open Password based on the user's machine ID. After that the user can use this Open Password to open your file on his/her computer. Because the Open Password is created based on the user's machine ID, the user will not be able to share the Open Password with other users. Because the Open Password is bond to the user's computer, the user will not be able to re-distribute your files.
